A working day
Opening
Stock and workshop-account balances from the day before are ready to check.
Through the day
A customer or mechanic asks for a part by vehicle make, model and year, or brings the old part in; counter staff looks up OEM and aftermarket matches.
Through the day
The sale is cash, or added to a workshop's running account for later settlement.
Through the day
A part that doesn't fit is exchanged against the original sale.
Closing
The owner reviews which part numbers haven't sold in a while, since fragmented stock ties up capital.
What goes wrong today
A part in stock somewhere in the shop but not found by vehicle make and model.
A workshop's running account with no ageing to show what's actually overdue.
Slow-moving part numbers tying up capital with no report to surface them.
What it does
Parts marked Coming soon are on the way; founding shops get them first, at no extra charge.
Pick the make, model and year and every fitting part appears, with genuine, aftermarket and local-copy options side by side, each with its own price, stock and bin.
Type an OEM, aftermarket or supplier number and the cross-reference finds the same part under every name it goes by.
Name the mechanic who sent the customer, and the commission accrues on the bill. The commission report shows what each mechanic earned, was paid and is owed.
Check a battery's serial to see when and to whom it was sold, then receive the claim, send it to the supplier and record whether it was replaced or rejected.
An old battery traded in comes off the bill at today's kabra rate, and the scrap stock is kept by weight.
Duty, regulatory duty, import sales tax and freight are spread over an import's parts, so each part carries its real landed cost.
Workshops and mechanics can buy against a running account; the product tracks the balance and ageing behind it.
A slow and dead stock list shows the parts that have not sold for a while and the money tied up in them.
Every receipt in our demos carries an FBR-style invoice number and QR code. The live FBR connection is coming soon.
Planned: a small on-site relay hub that keeps the till selling through an internet outage.
