The facts, without the sales talk.
BixiCash is business software and point-of-sale hardware for small businesses, made by Bixisoft in Multan, Pakistan. The software is a till with double-entry accounts, stock and purchasing built in, set up for each kind of business. It is sold per shop, per month; a second shop costs the same as the first. Hardware is sold by quote. Some parts are in the product today, some are shown in live demos and some are planned; every page says which.

| About | What we can say today |
|---|---|
| Prints an itemised receipt for every sale | Every sale prints a real 80mm or A4 receipt from the same accounting record, not a separate receipt table. |
| Count stock, see the variance and post the adjustment | Physical stock counts reconcile against the books; blind counts with variance and PIN approval are proven in our retail demo. |
| Real double-entry books behind every sale | Every transaction is a full double-entry journal entry, draft to post, never a silent edit of history. |
| Profit and loss, balance sheet and trial balance at a click | Accrual profit & loss, an as-of balance sheet and a trial balance are standard reports in the core. |
| Reconcile your bank statement against your books | Import a bank statement (CSV), match it line by line against your books, and see what's left unmatched. |
| Close an accounting period with a checklist | Periods close through a checklist and reversing-journal trigger, with an audited actor, reason and time on every close or reopen. |
| Every important change is tracked: who, when and what | Sensitive actions such as closing a period, or changing stock and product records, keep an audited actor, reason and before/after trail. |
| Raise a purchase order and receive goods against it | Purchase orders flow through to goods receipt and then a supplier bill. |
| Record supplier bills and track what you owe | Vendor bills and debit notes are tracked as open items, the same engine as customer invoices. |
| Sell on credit and track each customer's running balance (khata) | Customers can buy on account; the core tracks open invoices, receipts and ageing behind every khata balance. |
| Keep stock by warehouse and location, with branch-wide reports | The product keeps stock by warehouse and location; branch-wide reports are shown in the demos. |
| Process a customer return with a proper credit note | Returns post as credit notes against the original invoice, with linked purchase returns too. |
| One tax engine that works for any country's rates and rules | The core tax engine defines codes and rates per company with no country hard-coded; country links, FBR first, are designed to plug into it. |
| Full English interface | English is the source language across the core and every demo. |
| One staff register shared by every module | The core keeps one employee record that every module is meant to reference; our demos, though, each still keep their own separate staff list until that unification is wired through. |
| Try live demos of real workflows, by private link | Twenty-four demos are live: retail, bookshop, restaurant, fast food, school, pharmacy, traders, flour mill, lubricants distributor, FMCG distribution, petrol pump, auto parts, beauty salon, car workshop, gymkhana (members' club), mobile phone shop, family clinic, grain mandi aarthi, property manager, tuition academy, hotel, milk collection centre, clothing boutique and marriage hall. The demo keeps its data in your own browser. |

| About | What we can say today |
|---|---|
| Shows a customer-facing display with the running total and change | Shown in our demo: a second-screen customer display with the running bill, amount paid and change. |
| Scan a barcode to add it to the sale from anywhere on the till | Our demo till adds a line by scanning a barcode into the sale; scan-from-any-screen and phone-camera scanning are still being built. |
| Design and print your own barcode labels and shelf tags | Shown in our demo: pick items and preview a label sheet; the full label module (GS1 codes, direct thermal printing) is on the roadmap. |
| Sends orders straight to a kitchen display screen | Our restaurant demo sends a fired dish to its station's kitchen screen; the core restaurant module itself is still being built. |
| Customers order themselves at a self-service kiosk | Shown in our fast-food demo: a customer kiosk for ordering and pay-at-counter. |
| Accept cheques, including post-dated cheques, as a payment method | Shown in our traders and pharmacy demos: a cheque tender with a post-dated cheque register; the core till only posts cash or on-account today, so this is a near-term build. |
| Buy by the carton, sell by the strip or single unit, one price per pack level | Our demos sell in nested packs (carton, box, strip, unit) with a price per level; the core today handles one pack level per sale line, with no pack support yet on purchases or stock documents. |
| Batch and expiry tracking with first-expiry-first-out picking | Our pharmacy, traders and retail demos pick the earliest-expiring batch automatically and block expired stock; the core has no batch/expiry primitive yet, so this is a build target. |
| Discounts can never be taken below cost, with an owner-set maximum | Decided and shown in our demos: a discount can never take a line or bill below cost, and never exceeds the owner's maximum percentage. |
| A manager PIN is needed to override limits like void, return or discount | Our retail demo already asks for a manager PIN to approve a stock-count adjustment; PIN gates on void, return and price override are still being added. |
| Park a sale and recall it later | Park and recall a sale works in our till demo; the core's own counter-sale view doesn't have parked carts yet. |
| Reward customers with a loyalty points scheme | Loyalty points show in our retail demo; the module that books the points as a real liability is still on the roadmap. |
| Connects to FBR for digital invoicing | Our till is built to show FBR-style invoice numbers and QR codes on the receipt, clearly marked as a simulation; the certified government connection is not live yet. |
| Full Urdu interface, right-to-left where needed | Our demos run end-to-end in Urdu, including receipts and the restaurant floor and kitchen screens. |
| Send receipts, reminders and vouchers over WhatsApp | The demos show a receipt sent as a WhatsApp chat link. The product does not send receipts by WhatsApp yet. |
| Track staff attendance | Staff attendance is shown in our school and restaurant demos; it isn't in the core yet, and most of our other demos don't have it at all. |
| Run the staff payroll for a school, with payslips | Shown in our school demo: monthly pay runs prepared from the staff register and attendance, approved by a second person (the product's rule) and paid, with payslips; statutory deductions are not applied yet and leave balances are still being built. |
| Collect school fees by voucher, with bank and Kuickpay/1Link import | Shown in our school demo: a monthly fee voucher for every student, a family's vouchers collected together at the counter, and a bank/Kuickpay collection-file import. |
| Attendance marked by exception, not a register that starts everyone absent | Our school demo marks everyone present by default; the office or the class teacher records only an absence, a late arrival, leave or a half day. |
| Teachers send the daily class diary and homework to parents on WhatsApp | Shown in our school demo: a per-class diary written once by the subject teachers and shared with parents by WhatsApp click-to-chat. |
| Keep prescriptions, patients' history, doctors and deliveries | Our pharmacy demo has prescriptions, patients' history, doctors and home deliveries, each on its own page. |
| Keep a controlled-drug register | Our pharmacy demo has a controlled-drugs register page; the core batch/expiry primitive behind it is still only a proposal. |
| Manage a live floor plan of tables | Our restaurant demo has a floor plan with live table states, seats and courses. |
| Add modifiers to a dish (extra cheese, no onion) with their own price and recipe cost | Modifiers with required-choice rules are shown in our restaurant demo; the core doesn't yet support priced child lines on an invoice, so this is a build ask. |
| Route kitchen tickets to the right station automatically | Our restaurant demo routes a sent dish to its station's kitchen screen. |
| Split a bill by seat, item or equal shares | Splitting a bill by seat is tested in our restaurant demo; splitting one bill across several payment tenders is still a core ask. |
| Fast-food combos, a self-order kiosk and an order board | Shown in our fast-food demo: kiosk and counter ordering; a full meal-builder with combos and an order board are still being finished. |
| A wholesale counter that bills in cartons and loose units, with khata | Our traders demo bills in cartons and loose units against a customer's khata; the owner has said today's traders screens are weak and are being rebuilt. |
| Track distributor trade schemes and claims | Shown in our distribution demo: trade schemes (buy so many, get one free, or a percent off) apply on the order line at booking, and scheme, damage, expiry and price-difference claims are tracked until the principal pays. In the product itself, the shared promotions engine is still being built. |
| Run sales routes and settle each van at day's end | Van settlement (opening, loaded, sold, returns, closing stock) is a real core view; route and recovery sheets are shown in our traders demo and are still plugin work. |
| Run promotions: percentage off, buy X get Y, happy-hour pricing | Percentage-off, buy-X-get-Y and happy-hour promotions are shown in our retail demo; one shared promotions engine for every till is being built in Phase A. |

| Keeps selling when the internet drops, thanks to a LAN hub | Planned: a small on-site relay hub that keeps the till selling through an internet outage, starting in build increment 2 and piloted in increment 5. |
| Opens the cash drawer automatically on every cash sale | Planned: the till opens the cash drawer through the receipt printer. |
| Reads weighing-scale barcodes at the till | Planned: weight-embedded barcode parsing at the till, with live serial-scale support to follow. |
| Connects to biometric attendance machines | Planned: pulling attendance from biometric machines, plus spreadsheet import, once the attendance module ships; we already sell the machines as hardware. |
| Print ID cards for students, staff and members | Planned for a later build step: bulk ID card design and printing with photos and a QR or barcode. |
| A Windows app for the till | Planned: a Windows/WebView2 till with the same screens as the browser version, for real printer, drawer and scale control. |
| An Android app for order booking and vans | Planned for Phase B: an offline Android app for order bookers and drivers; today they use a mobile web screen that needs a connection. |
| Take card payments at the till | The demo till records a card slip number against the sale. Taking card payments through a terminal is planned. |
| Tested with popular POS hardware | We only badge a device 'Tested with BixiCash' once we've actually tried it; that tested list is still being built. |
| Track individual items by serial number | Planned: serial numbers as a stock primitive, for electronics, repairs and warranty tracking. |
| ZATCA e-invoicing for Saudi Arabia | Planned: Saudi ZATCA e-invoicing once we open that market; the tax engine is built to allow a country connector like it. |
| UAE VAT handled automatically | Planned: a UAE VAT connector; today the tax engine is jurisdiction-neutral and rates are entered by hand, per tenant. |
| Malaysia MyInvois e-invoicing | Planned: a MyInvois connector for Malaysia, on the compliance roadmap. |
| India GST built in | Planned: a GST connector for India; we've researched the account structure, but no rates or filings are implemented. |

| Automatic WhatsApp or SMS reminders, sent for you | Planned: automated, templated WhatsApp Business API and SMS sends through the bixicash-notify module. |

| Start with a 30-day free trial | A 30-day trial is proposed and not yet decided. |
| Sign up yourself online in minutes | Planned for later; today every tenant is set up by us, dealer-assisted. |
| Every extra shop costs the same as the first, no markup | Our pricing policy is decided: no extra-branch premium; this takes effect once self-serve billing is live. |
| Your data always exports, even if you stop paying | Four reports can be downloaded as CSV files today, as a preview. A full export of your data, which keeps working even if you stop paying, is planned. |
| Trusted by [N] businesses | We're onboarding our first tenants by hand; there's no customer count to publish yet. |
| Your data is hosted in a named, compliant location | We haven't published a data-hosting or data-residency answer per market yet; ask us for your country. |
