Will the till stop someone selling out-of-date stock?
Shown in our demos: an expired batch is blocked at the point of sale rather than left for a shopkeeper to spot.
Does it pick the oldest batch automatically?
Yes, in the demo. The till picks the batch that expires soonest, unless a scanned code names a specific one.
Is this already built into the core, or only the demo?
Only the demo today. The core has no batch or expiry primitive yet; it is a near-term build target.
Does this apply outside a pharmacy?
