Does the retail counter work the same as a grocery till?
Yes. The bookshop demo reuses the same retail till, receipt and all.
Can a school buy on credit?
Yes. A school's account is tracked as an open-item khata with ageing, the same as any customer account.
Are curriculum textbook prices fixed?
We believe some provincial textbook boards fix curriculum prices, but we have not verified this, and the system does not enforce it automatically.
Can it keep selling if the internet drops?
Not yet. It's planned: an on-site hub that keeps the till working through an outage.
