5 am
Cans at the desk
The clerk finds the farmer and types litres, fat and LR. SNF, the rate and the amount appear with the formula behind them; there is no rate field to type.
Live demo Agriculture & Livestock
Built for a milk collection centre with village points, a chiller, delivery routes and a processor. The clerk types litres, fat and LR and the price follows the rate chart in force, with the formula on the slip; every can shows in the farmer's passbook; advances are held to a limit unless the owner approves more, and are recovered at the fortnight; and the day's litres are checked to balance. Shown in our milk collection centre demo.
A working day
5 am
The clerk finds the farmer and types litres, fat and LR. SNF, the rate and the amount appear with the formula behind them; there is no rate field to type.
At the village point
The collector takes cans on a big number pad, for that point's farmers only. Closing the point compares the cans with the sheet and flags a gap over 0.5%.
A can that fails
A failed alcohol or strip test rejects the can and nothing is paid for it. Water suspected is a warning that still pays, and three rejects in 14 days prompt the clerk to put the farmer on watch.
Mid-morning
The tanker is loaded with its seal and temperature, and can't take more than the chiller holds or go past the processor's credit limit. The processor's report raises the invoice.
Through the day
Drivers serve shops, hotels and homes at the route's own price, take khata payments, and close the round with the cash counted against what was due.
Every fortnight
The run previews every farmer: milk money, the advance recovered oldest first and never more than half, money already drawn on account, and the net to pay by cash, bank or wallet.
What goes wrong today
A rate worked out by hand from a fat and SNF reading is easy for a farmer to half-suspect, even when it is honest.
Without a hard gate at the point of testing, a rejected can can still end up paid for by mistake.
Cash and feed advances given on trust, recovered from memory, and argued over at payment time.
What came in, what went to the processor and the routes, and what was lost don't meet at the end of the day, and nobody can say where the gap is.
What it does
Parts marked Coming soon are on the way; founding shops get them first, at no extra charge.
Shown in our milk collection centre demo: SNF is worked out from fat and LR, the rate from the dated chart in force, and the amount from the litres, to the paisa. The desk and the village point have no rate field; only a new chart changes a price.
Shown in our demo: the farmer's chart and the processor's circular are separate dated charts. A new chart is staged with a reason and only the owner approves it; milk already collected keeps its price, and the spread per litre is shown.
Shown in our demo: a failed alcohol test, an antibiotic or adulterant strip, or a very low LR rejects the can at nothing paid. Water suspected is a warning that still pays. Three rejects in 14 days prompt the clerk to put the farmer on watch, and a hold is the owner's decision.
Shown in our demo: a retest keeps the first reading, a mistake is reversed with a reason, and reversing a slip from an earlier shift needs the owner's PIN.
Shown in our demo: a big number pad limited to the collector's own point, and a close that compares the cans with the sheet. With the connection pulled, entries wait on the phone and post when it is back; in the demo the connection is simulated.
Shown in our demo: every can with its litres, fat, SNF, rate and amount, rejected cans marked not paid, advances, recoveries and payments, and a running balance equal to what is owed.
Shown in our demo: cash, feed and vet advances up to a limit of 12 days of the farmer's average milk money. Going over needs a reason and the owner's approval. Feed and vet are charged at the dealer's price, and there is no interest field anywhere.
Shown in our demo: a preview of every farmer before closing, recovery capped at half the milk money, money drawn on account netted off, statements, and payment by each farmer's preferred cash, bank or wallet. A cash or wallet payout larger than what is in hand is refused.
Shown in our demo: chiller readings with an alarm after 30 minutes above 6 °C, power cuts and losses with a reason, and each day's balance: opening plus accepted equals tanker, routes, losses and what is left.
Shown in our demo: tanker loads with seal and temperature, the invoice raised from the processor's own reading with transit shrink shown apart, credit notes instead of edits, receipts and ageing against the credit limit.
Shown in our demo: three routes with their own price lists, shops, hotels and homes on cash or khata, and a driver's round closed with the cash counted against what was due.
Shown in our demo: litres in and out, owed to farmers, owed by the processor, and cash, bank and wallet, each on its own and never netted, with the advance requests and staged charts waiting for a decision.
A slip or a passbook opens WhatsApp with the text written out, in Urdu or English, for farmers who agreed to it; a person presses Send. The app itself sends nothing.
The accounts already post each pay period as one balanced entry; a pay run with attendance and payslips is shown in the demo and still being built in the product.

Straight answers
Yes. Our milk collection centre demo has a desk, two village points, a chiller, three delivery routes and a processor, with 72 farmers and ninety days of sample history, six staff roles, and English and Urdu. It runs on sample data in your own browser. Book a demo and we send you a private link.
In the demo, SNF comes from fat and LR by a printed formula and the rate from fat and SNF points on a dated chart, so the same reading on the same chart always gives the same price. A new chart with your own points is staged and approved by the owner; tell us your formula and we show it.
Yes, in the demo. A failed test rejects the can at nothing paid, and it shows in the passbook as not paid. A warning such as water suspected never withholds payment.
The demo runs a fortnightly cycle, paid two days after it closes, with advances recovered at each close. The days from close to payout are a setting; tell us if your centre pays weekly or monthly.
Not in the demo. Litres, fat, LR and the test results are typed at the desk or the village point.
No. The demo records each payment by cash, bank or wallet and posts it to the books; the money itself moves the way it does today.
Every tax point in the demo is marked To verify, including raw milk, on which the demo adds no sales tax. Check the rules for your centre with your accountant before relying on them.
The demo shows a village point and a driver's phone carrying on with the connection pulled, the entries waiting until it is back; that is simulated in the demo. We are building the product to keep working when the internet drops, with the books kept safe online. It isn't finished yet. Ask us what is ready for your centre.
