Counselling on trade and batch
A walk-in enquiry is counselled toward a trade and a batch, then enrolled on an instalment plan instead of one lump sum.
Coming soon Education & Childcare
Enrol into a trade batch on an instalment plan, and let attendance and instalment ageing run themselves. A completion certificate is meant to wait until both the fee-clearance check and the attendance threshold pass.

Enquiry
A walk-in enquiry is counselled toward a trade and a batch, then enrolled on an instalment plan instead of one lump sum.
In the workshop
The instructor marks attendance for their own trade's batch; falling under the institute's own attendance threshold blocks exam eligibility until it's overridden with a reason.
Through the course
Periodic assessment marks are entered on the same marks grid a school uses for exams, one column per assessment.
Collection
An instalment plan is meant to schedule and remind on its own, so a defaulter list stays short and current instead of a hunt through receipts.
Completion
The exam coordinator issues a completion certificate only once fee-clearance and the attendance threshold both pass, with a reprint carrying the same QR.
Ongoing
Lab equipment and tools sit on a depreciating asset register with their own running cost, not lost in a general expense line.
What goes wrong today
A multi-month course paid in instalments needs real ageing; without it, who's behind and by how much is a guess.
Handing over a completion certificate without checking fees or attendance first means chasing the money afterwards, if at all.
Tools, machines and generators are real depreciating assets with a running cost; treating them as a one-off expense hides what they actually cost to keep.
A student can drift well below a reasonable attendance level and still sit the final exam, because nothing checks the two together.
What it does
Parts marked Coming soon are on the way; founding shops get them first, at no extra charge.
Planned: a course fee split into instalments, each due date scheduled up front and reminded on its own, ageing the same way any other receivable does today.
Shown in our school demo for a leaving certificate blocked until fee-clearance; the same register is planned here with a second gate — an attendance threshold — before a completion certificate can be issued.
Shown in our school demo: everyone starts present and only exceptions are recorded; here that same record is also meant to decide exam eligibility.
Planned: tools, machines and computers tracked as fixed assets with their own cost, depreciation and running expense, not a one-off purchase line.
A receipt or an instalment reminder pre-fills a WhatsApp message that a person sends with one tap.
Shown in our demos: a discount can never take a course fee below cost, and never exceeds the owner's own maximum.
The accounts already post each pay period as one balanced entry; a full pay run for monthly, hourly and per-batch instructor pay is still being built.
Who uses it
Owner/Director
Batch fill-rate, instalment ageing and instructor utilisation, without chasing three separate spreadsheets.
Admissions/front desk
Enrol on an instalment plan, collect a payment and see the seat map, without being able to issue a certificate or waive a fee.
Instructor
Mark attendance and enter assessment marks for their own trade only.
Exam coordinator
Issue or reprint a certificate only once the fee and attendance checks actually pass.

That's a setting the institute chooses for itself; we haven't found one industry norm, so treat any specific figure as your own policy, not a rule we impose.
Only if you want a government-recognised trade certificate; an institute teaching informally doesn't need it, but check current registration and renewal costs directly with NAVTTC or your provincial TEVTA board.
It's genuinely unclear and has moved between Finance Acts; confirm with an accountant for your specific trade and province rather than assuming either answer.
The intended handling is a pro-rata refund on a genuine dropout; this is designed but not yet built.
Planned: a small on-site relay hub that keeps the till selling through an outage; it isn't built yet.
