Morning
A car is appraised
An incoming car is inspected and priced, and the appraiser decides whether to buy it outright or take it on consignment.
Coming soon Automotive & Mobility
Every unit's landed cost adds purchase price, reconditioning and transfer taxes before it's even listed. A consigned car is kept apart from owned stock, token money is a tracked liability, and the transfer checklist is a structured list.
A working day
Morning
An incoming car is inspected and priced, and the appraiser decides whether to buy it outright or take it on consignment.
Mid-morning
Paint, denting or detailing spend is added to that specific unit's cost, not guessed at sale time.
Midday
A buyer test-drives a listed unit, negotiates, and pays a token to hold it while the balance is arranged.
Afternoon
The transfer paperwork is worked through as a checklist: registration documents, both parties' details, tax clearance and the transfer fee.
Evening
Inventory ageing is reviewed so a car sitting too long is noticed from the numbers, not from cash flow alone.
What goes wrong today
Purchase price, reconditioning spend and transfer taxes paid on a buyer's behalf are often not added up until the sale, instead of being known before listing.
A car sold on someone else's behalf can end up looking like the dealer's own inventory, when only the commission should count as revenue.
Money taken to hold a car needs a clear, stated forfeiture policy, not an informal understanding.
Registration documents, tax clearance and the transfer fee are easy to miss when there is no structured checklist.
What it does
Parts marked Coming soon are on the way; founding shops get them first, at no extra charge.
Planned: purchase price, reconditioning spend and transfer taxes rolled into one true cost per unit, known before it's listed.
Planned: a consigned car never appears as the dealer's own inventory; only the commission posts as revenue.
Planned: token money held against one specific vehicle, forfeitable only per a stated policy, never blended into revenue.
Planned: a checklist for the registration, tax-clearance and transfer-fee steps, instead of relying on memory.
Planned: serial numbers as a stock feature, so every unit is tracked individually by chassis and engine number.
Every purchase and reconditioning cost posts as a full double-entry journal entry, so a unit's margin is never a silent edit.
Planned: the sales floor keeps taking token money through an internet outage, through a small on-site relay hub.
