Ring up a mixed basket of fertilizer, seed and pesticide at different tax rates in one sale. Track each farmer's credit against the harvest it will be settled from, not a fixed due date.
A working day
Opening
Stock of fertilizer, seed and pesticide is checked, with batch and expiry noted on pesticide.
Through the day
A farmer buys a mix of fertilizer, seed and pesticide in one visit, paid cash or added to their udhari.
Through the day
Pesticide nearing its expiry is flagged before it becomes a write-off.
After a harvest
Farmer accounts are worked down as Rabi or Kharif settlements come in.
Ahead of a season
Stock is bought in ahead of the next sowing season.
What goes wrong today
A mixed basket of fertilizer, seed and pesticide at different tax rates, totalled by hand.
A farmer's credit tracked on a fixed due date that doesn't match when the harvest actually pays.
Pesticide expiring on the shelf unnoticed.
What it does
Parts marked Coming soon are on the way; founding shops get them first, at no extra charge.
Shown in our pharmacy, traders and retail demos: the earliest-expiring batch is picked automatically and expired stock is blocked. Batch and expiry tracking is still coming soon in the product itself.
Planned: a farmer ledger that ages a balance against the expected harvest settlement, not a fixed 30, 60 or 90-day due date. Flagged in our own research as a genuine gap, not something the standard ageing report already solves.
Planned: one sale that totals fertilizer, seed and pesticide correctly even when each carries a different tax rate.
Farmers can buy on account; the product tracks the balance the same way as any khata customer, though the harvest-linked ageing view above is still planned.
Every receipt in our demos carries an FBR-style invoice number and QR code. The live FBR connection is coming soon.
Planned: a small on-site relay hub that keeps the till selling through an internet outage.

That's planned, and flagged in our own research as a genuine gap: today's ageing report only does fixed 30, 60 and 90-day buckets.
Not fully verified. Fertilizer is commonly taxed at a reduced rate as agricultural support, but the exact current Pakistani rate hasn't been confirmed by us.
Likely, through a provincial agriculture department, but we haven't verified the exact requirement.
Yes, shown in our demos: the nearest-expiry batch is picked automatically and expired stock is blocked; this isn't in the product yet.
