Opening
Machines are checked
The attendant checks the machine-status dashboard for any faulted washer or dryer before the doors open.
Coming soon Local businesses by country
For a self-service coin and card laundromat, showing which washers and dryers are in use, free or faulted, and whether the cash collected actually matches what the machines report having vended.
A working day
Opening
The attendant checks the machine-status dashboard for any faulted washer or dryer before the doors open.
Through the day
Customers pay per cycle by coin, card or app; any wash-dry-fold drop-off is weighed in and queued.
Ongoing
The attendant assists a customer with a card payment or a jammed machine.
Closing
Cash collected from coin machines is counted and checked against the monitoring system's recorded vend count.
Weekly
The owner reviews utility cost against machine-cycle revenue, and schedules maintenance by usage-hours.
What goes wrong today
A cash-versus-vended discrepancy is only caught, if ever, well after the fact — the classic worry that someone is skimming the coin box.
A machine fault mid-cycle means an on-the-spot refund with no record of why.
Utility cost, the single biggest recurring cost, is never actually compared against machine-cycle revenue.
A wash-dry-fold drop-off is tracked on a paper ticket that can go missing.
What it does
Parts marked Coming soon are on the way; founding shops get them first, at no extra charge.
Planned: a priced machine with a coin/card/app tender per use, a live status feed, and this trade's own cash-versus-recorded-vend check. This building block doesn't exist in the product yet.
Planned: seeing which machines are in-use, free or faulted from a phone, not just standing in the laundromat.
Planned: a wash-dry-fold drop-off weighed, priced per pound, and tracked to pickup without a paper ticket.
Planned: integrated card and QR payments through a partner acquirer, so a machine can take more than coin.
Each pay period already posts as one balanced accounting entry; a full pay run for part-time, shift-based attendants is still being built.
The tax engine lets you set a rate or exemption per company; whether sales tax applies to a coin-op laundry service varies by US state, and would need to be entered as a rate.
